Eligible study participants will receive inguinal (groin) hernia repair surgery at no cost, and up to $1,500 compensation for their time & travel.

Dr. Harvey Nurick is the principal investigator at CARI Clinical Trials. He earned his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and completed his surgical residency at Brown University in Providence, RI. With over 40 years in private practice in Southern California, Dr. Nurick serves as the Chief of Surgery at Doctors Hospital of Riverside and Riverside Community Hospital. He has 7+ years of clinical research experience and is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at UC Riverside. Dr. Nurick is passionate about surgery and patient advocacy.
